I woke up late and I found out that Tom had left me a note saying that he had gone for a morning swim.

Although breakfast had finished, Giorgos and Maria, the owners of the hotel had kept us yummy, homemade honey-sesame bars because they knew we were going for a hike.

During the hike we followed old cobblestone paths, that took us from one village to another. With the GPS, little thinking or effort was required. We pushed a few buttons and voila! We just had to follow the red line.

While stopping to take a picture, a local farmer approached us and gave us a wild artichoke to taste.

After the hike our friendly driver Nikos took us down to the coast, for a fresh seafood feast in a restaurant by the sea.

Siesta time! We returned back to our boutique hotel, a Neoclassical Mansion built in 1864, and we took a nap as Greeks do.

In the afternoon we went for a relaxing stroll through the narrow streets of the town and stopped for a coffee in a little square, watching the people pass by.

We learnt how to cook and we ate as a local in Miss Nikoleta's house during a cooking lesson session.

Walking back to our hotel, and as the lighthouse was starting to operate, we discussed about the lovely day we had.
